With a population of only 1.8 million people, that’s just smaller than the city of Houston, Texas to put it in perspective, we’re proud to have punched above our weight on the world’s sports stage.

Why not take a trip to Windsor Park, our National Stadium, to find out more about our Northern Ireland football team which made a name for itself at the Euros. Will Greig’s on fire! Locally we also have GAA (Gaelic football and hurling/shinty), unique to Ireland and well worth a visit to some of the local grounds and clubs if you’re passing. You’d be made most welcome! As it’s summer there aren’t many sports events on, but we’ll find anything that’s on whilst you’re here and post it below.
