Clive Staples Lewis (C.S Lewis), 1898-1963, author of The Chronicles of Narnia was born in Belfast. If, like millions of children, you grew up on his stories, why not take a tour in Belfast to see the actual door handle which inspired his lion and all the other influences on his writing.

There are some great Belfast tours where you can see C.S Lewis' influences for The Chronicles of Narnia (the Lion door handle...) or you can go to the hill near Rostrevor to see where he sat overlooking The Mourne Mountains and came up with Narnia.
